OUR SERVICES

Lycla Consult (T) Ltd provides professional consultancy services in general during inception
stage, design stage and management of the actual construction work. The engineering services
are comprised of the Pre-Contract and Post-Contract:

PRE-CONTRACT:
Stage (i) Preliminary data collection:
􀀀 Visit to the sites, taking client’s instructions in relation to the project’s requirements.
􀀀 Arrange and undertake measurements of the existing structures where applicable.
􀀀 Further discussion with the client concerning specific design concepts.

Stage (ii) Sketch design:
􀀀 Preparation of sketch designs
􀀀 Cost analysis of preliminary sketch design.

Stage (iii) Tender document:
􀀀 Preparation of working drawings and specifications.
􀀀 Coordination with other consultants on structural and other services engineering designs
including specification for civil works and other associated external works.
􀀀 Preparation of Bills of Quantities and completion of other tender and contract documents
􀀀 Preparation of final budget on basis of the tender documents

Stage (iv) Tender document approval:
􀀀 Submission of the project documents to authorities for approval.
􀀀 Advertising and pre-qualifying suitable contractors and floating tenders.
􀀀 Check returned tenders, report and recommendations for acceptance by client.

POST-CONTRACT:
Stage (v) Supervision:
􀀀 Periodic supervision of the construction to satisfactory completion.
􀀀 Advice client on any changes, alternatives and/or modifications, which are needed as
consequences of findings during construction.
􀀀 Preparation of interim valuations and payment certificates.
􀀀 Financial appraisal and periodic progress reports to clients.
􀀀 Issue of certificate at practical completion and at final completion.
􀀀 Preparation of comprehensive final account and final payment certificate.
􀀀 Preparation of drawings as built drawings and maintenance programs.
